Self-introduction
I was born and raised in Ibi, a rural town in Gifu Prefecture, located in the central part of Japan.
In 2023, I began filming videos around my hometown. Until then, I used to think that my hometown didn’t have any unique features or special qualities.
Why do I film videos around my hometown?
I was surprised when my foreign friends responded with messages like, “What a beautiful town!” after I sent them my videos. I didn’t expect that kind of reaction. Because of their words, I realized that my hometown is rich in nature and truly beautiful.
There are no karaoke places or theaters here— not even a McDonald’s or Starbucks. The landscape has changed over time, but it still feels like a peaceful, rural town.
When people think of Japan, cities like Tokyo and Kyoto are the first that come to mind. But I want to show that Japan is not just about big cities— rural areas also have their own charm and beauty. That’s why I decided to share the beauty of my hometown with the world.
I’d like to give something back to my hometown, where I was born and raised. A part of the income I earn from YouTube, I hope to use for the economic revitalization of my town. Someday, I’d love to buy a vacant house in Ibi, renovate it, grow vegetables in the field, and spend peaceful days with my mother, doing what we enjoy. That’s my dream.
What is my lifestyle like?
I currently live in Shizuoka, which is well known for its green tea and Mt. Fuji. I often travel back and forth between Ibi and Shizuoka—so in a way, I feel like I have two homes.
I used to live a typical modern lifestyle, not thinking much about my habits. I often used disposable items, like paper products, without hesitation. But after I started making videos about rural life in Japan, something inside me changed. I was inspired by the simple, mindful way of life in the countryside. I began to feel that I should stop relying on disposable items, think more carefully about what I eat, and value things that can be used for a long time.
Now, I try to use traditional and natural materials whenever possible. I’ve switched from paper products to cotton fabric, and even started growing my own vegetables. Of course, living exactly like people in the past is difficult in today’s world. So, I try to find a balance—using modern conveniences with gratitude, while also making what I can myself. I’m really enjoying this lifestyle that makes me feel closer to the heart of Japan.
What do I care most about when editing my videos?
One important thing is the music I use — I choose sounds that feel deeply Japanese.
Western music is amazing and often works beautifully in videos by international creators.
But since I’m filming the peaceful, nostalgic scenery of a spacious rural town in Japan, I want my music to reflect that same atmosphere.
Even when I want a modern vibe for my vlogs, I look for music by Japanese artists, to stay true to the spirit of my videos.

Sewing: My Mission in 2025

- I’m planning to create garments using fabrics with traditional Japanese patterns.
Studying Video Production
2023: I started my YouTube channel.
2024: I struggled with how to grow my channel, as my subscriber count stayed around 300.
2025: I began to rethink my video content. I decided to clearly separate my videos into two categories:
– videos showcasing my hometown (still the main focus)
– lifestyle videos as a personal vlog
I also made up my mind to seriously study video production on my own and improve the quality of my work.
Creative Family
I’d like to introduce my brother, a talented illustrator. We’re planning to collaborate someday — blending his unique characters with the rural landscapes I capture in my videos.
